I Desperately Need to Catch up

/ My backlog is so long that it clouds new content. Time to just dump unrelated items together because why not.

  1. Is there a correct amount of information to know? Initially thought that the more information the better. Perhaps you get an information edge. Perhaps you get a more comprehensive understanding. Perhaps you learn something deeply hidden and that encourages or dissuades you. Conversely, what if you learn 40% of information, make a decision, and then the remaining 40-50% of information (to approach 80-90% total information) you work hard to learn…just to arrive at the same conclusion? But learning that extra information further informs your view as the conditions of your decision change” hmm good point now that I think about it. Still want to chew on this but for now I’m thinking that there is an ideal amount of information to know. You don’t need to know the details sometimes…just the big picture.

  2. Inward reflection. It is REALLY difficult to come to a good conclusion of:

    1. what is the purpose of this
    2. what I enjoy
    3. what I think I’m ok at
    4. and what I like learning more about
    5. what can be to some extent value-generative for myself and others (define value however you wish).
  3. A lot of importance falls on the scale of problems you work on. Small changes on large problems = large scale > big changes on small problems = small scale.

  4. I literally have no clue why this is in my to write” list but it sounds interesting.

Though the community garden is still in its early stages, its potential for social impact makes it an investable endeavor.”

  5. Weekly reminder on the pros of an abundance vs. scarcity mindset. Growth vs. value mindset.

  6. Thinking about other Delah Coffee vibes…in SF

  7. Might be a good title of a book:

How Can We Be Free and Unjudged?

tl;dr literally random stuff

Cheers,

Vish
